ginger snaps
I found this recipe in an old cookbook that I had. This is one of Dad's and Grandpa Burgess' favorite cookie.

2/3 cbutter

1 csugar

1 lgegg

1/4 cmolasses

2 tspsoda

1 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspginger powder

1 csugar in a bowl
How To Make ginger snaps

1In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and the sugar until fluffy. Add the other ingredients given, in order, (accept the bowl of sugar). Mix.

2I usually use a cookie scoop and divide the scoop of dough in half, roll the dough in a ball, roll in the bowl of sugar. Place the cookie on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
