Better than boxed pudding and I can also make it sugar free easily. This is the recipe that I used to make a banana cream pie and banana pudding. It is so good and you may recognize the flavor once you taste it. Use the reserved egg whites for meringue.

3egg yolks, reserve whites

How To Make vanilla pudding

1Separate the egg yolks and reserve the egg whites.

2Combine sugar, salt, cornstarch, and flour together in a large microwaveable bowl. Whisk egg yolks and 1/4 cup of the milk together then add the remaining milk. Cook in microwave, stirring every 2 minutes until very bubbly (about 8 minutes depending on microwave) Add vanilla and cool.
