Ingredients For stuffed bell pepers

1 lbground beef

1 lgonion, chopped

1 boxrice a roni spanish rice mix

15 oztomatoes, canned and diced (for the spanish rice mix)

15 oztomato sauce

1 tspsugar

1 cmozzarella or chedder cheese, shredded
How To Make stuffed bell pepers

1Remove tops and seeds from peppers; parboil peppers for 5 minutes and drain.

2Place peppers in a baking dish.

3Combine ground beef and onion and cook together until done. Drain and set aside.

4Prepare Rice-A-Roni according to package directions.

5When rice is done, combine it with the beef and onion

6Fill peppers with rice mixture.

7Mix the 1 teaspoons sugar with the tomato sauce and pour this AROUND the peppers (not over).

8Cover the baking dish.

9Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes and then uncover and top with the shredded cheese.

10Bake uncovered for about 5 minutes more to melt cheese.

11Serve with the tomato sauce.
