I used to make this chili so Matthew would eat it and that was to use pork n beans, but now I use regular beans and that depends what I have on hand. It could be a red bean, pintos, kidney, or navy beans. This is a good chili that you can use as a base and add heat, etc. to it.

Ingredients For chili

1 1/2 lbground beef

1 conion, diced

1 qttomatoes, run through a blender

8 oztomato sauce

2 canbeans, pinto or red, your choice

1 tspchili powder

1 1/2 tspsalt

1 tspcumin

1/4 tsppaprika

1 Tbspbrown sugar
How To Make chili

1Brown ground beef in a 3 qt pot, drain excess grease, add onion, cook a little more. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beans. Stir.

2Add chili powder(if you want it spicier, add more chili powder), salt, cumin, paprika and sugar, stir. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally for about 30 - 45 minutes.
