A recipe that I grew up on as well as my kids. Robert would volunteer me to make this for the yearly wrestling tournament.

Ingredients For chili con carne (large batch)

  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lg
    onion, chopped
  • 32 oz
    tomato juice
  • 3 can
    tomatoes, canned and chopped, with liquid
  • 3 can
    kidney beans, canned
  • to taste
    chili powder
  • to taste
    salt and pepper

How To Make chili con carne (large batch)

    Brown ground beef with onion, drain fat
  • 2
    Add rest of ingredients.
  • 3
    Allow to simmer until desired thickness.
