    sugar
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 1/4 c
    applesauce
  • 1/3 c
    peanut butter
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    water, warm
  • FROSTING
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 1/3 c
    peanut butter
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 1/4 c
    confectioners' sugar

How To Make peanut butter cake

    In a microwavable bowl, combine the peanut butter and butter, melt.

    Cake:In a bowl combine the sugar, flour and baking soda, mix. Make a well in the middle of the flour mixture and add the egg, sour cream, and applesauce mix together. Add the water and the warm peanut butter mixture, mix. Pour the cake batter in a 9" x 9" pan and bake at 375 for 35 minutes. Let sit for about 5-10 minutes before putting on frosting.

    Frosting:Combine the peanut butter and butter together and melt in a microwavable bowl. Stir in milk, then the powdered sugar and vanilla. This is not a stiff frosting. Frost while cake is still warm.
