This is really a form of a dump cake recipe. However I called it Glop when I was younger and it stuck. I prefer white cake mix and cherry pie filling.

Ingredients For glop

  • 1 can
    pie filling, cherry,peach, etc
  • 1 box
    cake mix, white or yellow
  • 1/4 c
    margarine, melted

How To Make glop

  • 1
    Evenly spread the pie filling in the bottom of a greased 8x8 baking dish. Evenly sprinkle the cake mix over the pie filling in the dish. Pour melted margarine evenly over cake mix.

    Bake at 375 for 30-40 minuets. Optional:Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
