Ingredients For chocolate cobbler

1 1/4 csugar, divided

7 Tbspcocoa, divided

1 call purpose flour

2 tspbaking powder

1/4 tspsalt

1/2 cmilk
-
1/3 cunsalted butter, melted

1 1/2 tspvanilla extract

1/2 cfirmly packed light brown sugar

1 1/2 cvery hot water (may only need 1 1/4)
How To Make chocolate cobbler

1Set oven to 350. Stir together ¾ c. sugar, flour, 3 T. cocoa, baking powder and salt.

2Stir in milk, butter and vanilla, mixing until smooth. Pour batter into an 8" square glass pan.

3Mix ½ c. sugar, brown sugar, and 4 T. cocoa. Sprinkle evenly over batter.

4Pour hot water over top. Do not stir.

5Bake 35 to 40 min or until center is almost set. Let stand 15 min.

6Can use chocolate syrup from bottom of dessert to spoon over servings. Serve with ice cream.
