This is not so much cooking as it is construction. You can use either corned beef or pastrami for this whatever you like the best. Mustard too is whatever you like.

Ingredients For ruben sandwiches

4 slicerye bread, we like the seeded

10 smsquirts liquid butter, on one side each of the slices of bread

4 sliceswiss cheese, one for each slice of bread

4 to 5 tspgrainey deli mustard for each slice of bread

3 to 4 ozcorned beef,or pastrami sliced very thinly so you can stack it

4 Tbspor more sauerkraut, to your liking

4 Tbspthousand island dressing
How To Make ruben sandwiches

1On one side of each slice of bread, spray liberally with the spray butter.

2Flip bread slices over,spread with mustard, and put a slice of swiss cheese on each slice of bread.

3Pile on your corned beef, then sauerkraut, then drizzle the Thousand Island dressing over.

4Grill on each side until golden brown and cheese melts.

5Great partners are dill pickles, and potato salad.
