**This recipe makes 2 pies. My daughter requested that I make this for her birthday instead of traditional birthday cake. It is a family favorite in our home.

Ingredients For oatmeal pecan pie

1 1/2 cbutter, melted

1 1/3 csugar
-
1 1/3 cdark corn syrup
-
2 coats
-
6 lgeggs
-
1 Tbspvanilla
-
1-1 1/2 cpecans, chopped

2regular pie crusts (not deep dish)
How To Make oatmeal pecan pie

1Combine butter, sugar, corn syrup & oats.

2Stir in eggs & vanilla.

3Pour into pie pans.

4Top with pecans.

5Cover edges of crust with foil.

6Bake at 325' for 25 minutes.

7Remove foil and bake 20-25 more minutes more or until pie is set in center.
