Blue Ribbon Recipe

This would be a perfect dish to take to a picnic or any outdoor function. The brie adds a wonderfully nutty flavor that the Crew and I couldn't get enough of.

Ingredients For bowtie pasta and brie cheese medley

  • 1 box
    bowtie pasta
  • 1
    triangle of brie cheese (rind removed)
  • 1/2 c
    olive oil
  • 2 clove
    minced garlic
  • 2 md
    tomoato's seeded and diced
  • 1 bunch
    freshly sliced basil
  • 1 sm
    package sliced almonds
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make bowtie pasta and brie cheese medley

  • 1
    Cook pasta per package directions. In a large skillet, warm olive oil on low heat. Add diced tomatoes and basil.

    Allow to warm. Add brie in chunks.

    Do not melt totally. Add garlic, almonds, salt and pepper.

    Pour over bowtie and stir.
