These muffins are very good and so easy to make.I like them warm with butter ...yummy. There very good to take to a gathering , they go quick so you might want to make more than one batch.

Ingredients For 3 cheese & onion muffins (jumbo)

  • 2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • dash of ground nutmeg
  • 1-1/4 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    butter or margarine , melted
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green onion
  • 1/4 c
    shredded mozarella cheese
  • 1/4 c
    grated romano cheese
  • 1/4 c
    shredded parmesan cheese

    IN A BOWL COMBINE THE FLOUR , BAKING POWDER ,PEPPER AND NUTMEG.

    IN ANOTHER BOWL COMBINE THE MILK , BUTTER AND EGG .

    STIR INTO DRY INDGREDIENTS JUST UNTIL MOISTENED. FOLD IN THE ONION AND CHEESES. FILL GREASED JUMBO MUFFIN CUPS TWO THIRDS FULL. BAKE @ 400° FOR 20-25 MIN. OR UNTIL TOOTH PICK COMES OUT CLEAN. COOL FOR 5 MIN. BEFORE REMOVING FROM PAN TO WIRE RACK . YIELDS ; 6 MUFFINS
