For the next game make sure your eggs are lined up and ready for kick-off! I made these for a recent Packer/Viking game and brought them to a bar to watch the game. They were gone in a matter of minutes! Since then I have been asked to bring them to several more games and events. They can be made to go with any team colors. I made the field out of felt and cover it with plastic wrap so I can reuse it and it stays clean.

  • 1/3 c
    miracle whip
  • 2 tsp
    yellow mustard
  • dash
    salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
chopped pickles or horseradish (my favorite is sweet refridgerator pickles)
  • dash

How To Make game day eggs

  • 1
Boil and peel eggs. (I have found that bringing them to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 11 minutes works great. Immediately cool under cold water to stop cooking.)
  • 2
Slice eggs in half lengthwise. Put all yolks in a bowl.
  • 3
Fill two bowl with about a cup of water. Add food coloring to make the colors you want. (It takes quite a bit of coloring.)
  • 4
Soak whites in colored water until desired coloring is achieved.
  • 5
To the yolk add the Miracle Whip, mustard, salt, pepper and pickles. Mix well.
  • 6
Dry off colored egg whites and pipe yolk mixture into eggs. Line them up on the field so they are ready for kick-off!
