Ingredients For cornbread dressing
- CORNBREAD

hot water

48 ozchicken broth

1 tspsalt

1 Tbsprubbed sage

1bag cornbread stuffing mix

1 stickbutter, unsalted

1 mdonion, diced

5celery stalks, diced
- DRESSING

2 ccorn meal
-
1/4 ccanola oil
-
1 3/4 cbuttermilk

1egg, beaten
-
6 slicewhite bread
How To Make cornbread dressing

1Preheat oven to 450. Mix all ingredients and pour into a 9 inch pan. Bake for 25 minutes.

2Saute celery and onions in butter.

3Crumble cornbread and white bread together.

4Add sauted vegetables to bread mix along with seasonings.

5Pour in the chicken broth and enough hot water to the moistness that you prefer.

6Place in casserole dish and bake for 1 hour at 350.

7This dressing can be frozen before baking. Allow to thaw and come to room temperature before baking.
