This dish is a great meal to throw together on a busy weeknight. Everyone in the family will love this. It's cheesy and full of so much flavor. The seasonings along with the fresh onions make the meat mixture super yummy. The noodles, with Jenni's cheese mixture, is nice and creamy. It's delicious!

Ingredients For taco noodle bake

1 lbground beef
-
3/4 cchopped onion

1 tspminced garlic
-
2 Tbsptaco seasoning

1/4 tspcayenne pepper
-
1 cwater
-
1 can(15 oz) tomato sauce
-
1 lbegg noodles, cooked and drained

16 ozcottage cheese (2 cups)

1/2 csour cream
-
1 Tbspflour
-
2 tspbeef bouillon granules
-
1/4 cchopped green onion
-
1/4 cchopped green pepper
-
2 cshredded cheddar jack cheese
How To Make taco noodle bake

1Cook noodles according to package directions.

2Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet with garlic, taco seasoning, and cayenne pepper. Drain.

3Add water and tomato sauce.

4Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.

5Meanwhile, in a large bowl, stir together cottage cheese, sour cream, flour, and bouillon granules. Mix well.

6Add cooked noodles, green onion, and green pepper.

7Spoon noodle mixture into a greased 9x13 pan.

8Top with meat mixture.

9Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

10Remove from oven and top with cheese.

11Bake an additional 10 minutes.

12Let sit a few minutes before serving.
