today is a rainy cloudy day and 30 degrees cooler than it has been jus the kind of day ya want a nice hot mug of soup i came up with this yummy

Ingredients For homemade cream of tomato soup

  • 2 qt
    fresh frozen chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 2
    bay leaves, dried
  • several
    grinds fresh ground pepper[to taste]
  • 2 1/2 c
    1% milk

How To Make homemade cream of tomato soup

  • 1
    put tomatoes and spices in med size soup pot turn on high to bring to a boil once boilin turn to low simmer and cook bout an hour now remove bay leaves

    now put tomatoes in food processor and mix til smooth[i did 2 batches] return to soup pot bring back to boil now add milk heat til it bout boils.... taste add more salt and pepper if needed[mine didn't]

    i served this with cheese crackers yummy!!!
