this cornbread will warm you up with all it's spicy goodness! This goes well with my potato soup.

Ingredients For jalapeno cornbread

  • 3 c
    jiffy cornbread mix
  • 2 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    salad oil
  • 3 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 can
    cream-style corn
  • 1
    onion, grated
  • 1/2 c
    jalapeno peppers, chopped (use more or less depending on your preference)
  • 3
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 lb
    hot sausage, cooked and drained
  • 1/2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make jalapeno cornbread

  • 1
    preheat oven and oiled pans to 425*F. Mix all ingredients well and pour ito preheated pans. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly browned. Let cool slightly before cutting.
