1Combine flour, sugar, spices, baking soda, and salt in a mixing bowl.

2Stir in applesauce, sour cream, oil, and lemon juice.

3Pour into muffin pans fitted with paper liners.

4Bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven of 350 F.

5Let cool completely on a wire rack.

6To make the caramel glaze, melt unwrapped caramels and milk in a saucepan over low heat; stirring constantly until just melted. Spread the caramel glaze over the tops.
