Oh, Nancy & Rose, you are both so SWEET! I love your idea about using a paper towel to remove that nasty membrane, Nancy. Anything to improve ribs gets my attention! (I'll try to edit that hint in the recipe.) Here's a kitty for both of you. =^..^= =^..^=
Rose....you are so right..
between her and Vivian...this cookbook is a KEEPER!!.
One thing I would add to her directions, on ribs...
When tearing off the white membrane on the ribs...I use a paper towel to hold and pull off the white membrane!...You can really get a good hold on it...makes life a little bit easier.......HA!...
Hugs, Nancy..8/10/12...
whoops I mean...."ma".....LOL
Holy Moly....I got 21 recipes out of this one cookbook, Ma. That Fran Miller has LOTS of GREAT recipes. I love her sense of humor in writing her recipe directions! I recognized her right away by her =^..^= which is her signature. I just might have to add Fran to my "Favorite Cooks" list! This is "one of the best" of your cookbooks. 8/10/12
