Cabbage Soup With Attitude
“Here’s my version of (diet) Cabbage Soup. It doesn’t add more calories but adds a lot more flavor. If you don’t need the diet version, add even more flavor with diced ham, crumbled bacon, white beans, corn, tomato sauce, or other ingredients you like with cabbage. I love it and hope you will, too!” – Donna
Stuffed Pepper Soup
“YUMMY! Tastes like stuffed green peppers. It is easy to make, hearty, and filling.” – Gail
Shrimp Chinese Style Noodle Soup
“I got this recipe from my stepmother. It is absolutely yummy. I had actually forgotten it until I saw a similar recipe online called Asian noodle soup. This soup is “souper” simple. The only thing to avoid is overcooking it. I must admit times are approximate but close. I’m one of those cooks that everything is a pinch or a dash. On timing, it’s when it looks/tastes right. This recipe is almost foolproof.” – Jodi
Winter Minestrone
“My 8-year-old daughter, who hates healthy food, LOVES this soup. It’s inexpensive to make and freezes wonderfully.” – Beth
Happy Tummy Chicken & Noodles
“This recipe is based on my Grandma Stevenson’s recipe. I have tweaked it to my own taste. I love to make this when I need comfort food. I make it in the summer and winter. It doesn’t matter what season, it is always good to me. It makes a large pot so be prepared to freeze some for later.” – Teena
Potato Bacon Soup
“I was in search of a potato soup recipe similar to Rafferty’s famous potato soup to make for my husband’s birthday. After reading endless soup recipes, I finally took all my favorite parts from each recipe and came up with this one. It’s now requested at ALL family functions during the winter months! Hope you enjoy as much as we do!!!” – Amber
D’Chickin Tortilla Soup
“Every Tuesday night is taco night at my house. I was tired of tacos, so I came up with this soup! For this recipe, I combined my favorite tortilla soup (Max and Erma’s) and the soup I usually do. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!” – stefen
Fresh Tomato Soup
“This has got to be my favorite soup! My grandmother made it for me as a child, and I never lost the taste for it. Store-bought just won’t do.” – Cheryl
Mom’s Beef Barley Soup
“I have a family of men, and they love this hearty soup. It makes a lot and freezes well.” – Deb
Cabbage Roll Soup
“All of the flavours of beef stuffed cabbage rolls in a quick and easy soup!” – Kevin
Cream of Roasted Red Pepper Chicken Soup
“I like convenience, so I used jarred peppers. If you have time to roast the peppers, it would be even better. I also use leftover rotisserie chicken. When we buy a rotisserie chicken from the deli, my family never wants the meat on the bottom so I shred it and use it in soup later.” – Jan
Lasagna Soup
“This is a meal in itself. It doesn’t need salad.” – Gail
Easy Pasta e Fagioli
“This Pasta e Fagioli is so easy and full of veggies, beans and pasta. It is super easy and better than any soup you will get in a restaurant.” – Debbie
Savory Roasted Butternut Squash & Red Pepper Soup
“I love anything with butternut squash. Since it’s finally soup weather I had to make this! It’s very hearty, savory, just a tiny bit sweet, and makes your whole house smell like fall.” – Ashley
Matzo Ball Soup With Chicken
“I love, love, love Matzo balls… I could eat just a giant bowl of them, but I think that might be weird, so of course, some yummy carrots, celery, and chicken have to join the party. This is awesome for weeknights when I don’t have time to cook the chicken first. Perfect for feeding the whole family or having leftovers to take for lunch!” – Ashley
Crab and Shrimp Soup
“Favorite at my house on cold winter days, for Easter or Christmas.” – Julianne
Crazy Old Bag Lady’s Bean & Ham Soup
“This recipe is very near and dear to my heart. It is named after and in memory of my beloved mother. She got the nick name of Crazy Old Bag Lady because she always sort of dressed like a Bag Lady. She was very poor as a child growing up in the bayous of Louisiana, and most of the time never knew where her next meal was coming from. Because of this she took on the waste not want not attitude. Our cupboards were always over flowing, she made sure of it because one of her biggest fears was her children ever having to go hungry as she did. After she met my father and they married she never wanted for anything. She had beautiful expensive clothes, but rarely wore them. She preferred her Wal-Mart sweat suits and flannel jammies. That is why we called her Crazy Old Bag Lady. Momma could make anything taste like it had come straight out of the Waldorf Astoria’s kitchen. Beans were one of her favorite things even though she ate a lot of them as a child. I will share some of her recipes as well. Thank you Bag Lady for giving me a wonderful foundation not only in Christ, but in cooking skills :)” – Corinne
Kickin’ Chicken Taco Soup
“Six cans and some chicken… that’s how easy this recipe is. Hope you enjoy!” – Teressa
Hearty Hamburger Soup For the Crock Pot
“We had this camper stew with my best friend’s mom, Mrs. Doyle, in my childhood. I have made it many times over the years. It’s always great. I just added a few things to make it heartier. We laid Mrs. Doyle to rest today, Oct 25, 2016. I would like to dedicate my Blue Ribbon to her, Mrs. Norma Jean Doyle 1930-2016. Thank you Kitchen Crew. This means a lot to me.” – Angie
Creamy Broccoli Cheese Soup
“Super, tasty, scrumptious… Oh My! Words cannot describe how great this is!” – Denise
Crock Pot French Onion Soup
“Simple, but delicious. Set it and forget it. Soup is served.” – Skip
Buffalo Style Chicken and Rice Soup
“This healthy and hearty soup combines the same great flavors of Frank’s brand hot wings served with carrots and celery with blue cheese dressing (optional). But, this is a less guilty, less messy recipe that you eat with a spoon. It’s a cross between Buffalo chicken chili and vegetable & wild rice soup. This great, kitchen-sink-style soup can be easily tweaked to suit your family’s particular tastes. Make it thicker or thinner by adjusting the amount of wild rice. It’s delicious topped with sour cream, avocado, shredded cheese, tortilla chips, or crumbled blue cheese. Enjoy! Freezes GREAT!” – Julie
