If you haven’t tried pearl couscous yet, you’re missing out. Also known as Israeli Couscous, Ptitim, and Giant Couscous, this type of couscous is actually a type of pasta made out of semolina flour and water. It was introduced in the 1950s and is much larger than finely grained North African couscous. While its history is confusing, there is no question that Pearl Couscous is one of our favorite things to eat. From salads to main dishes, Israeli Couscous is a delicious addition to your menu.
