We can’t all travel to Key West, but thanks to key limes our taste buds can take us there. Grown in the Florida Keys, key limes are not as acidic, smaller, and less tart than the common Persian lime. And you can’t make a key lime pie without them. Well, if you’re in a pinch Persian limes can be substituted but the final result won’t exactly stay the same.
