The Just A Pinch Test Kitchen shows how to properly freeze meat, fish and poultry.
Step 1. Gather a resealable plastic bag, plus a piece of tin foil and plastic wrap. Place the plastic bag on the counter on the counter, then the tin foil and last the plastic wrap.
Step 2. Place fresh fish (or whatever meat you are freezing) on top of plastic wrap towards the top in the middle.
Step 3. Using the plastic wrap layer, roll to the other side of cutting board in a folding pattern. Then fold sides into the center.
Step 4. Repeat folding process with tin foil.
Step 5. Put meat into resealable bag and place in freezer to maintain freshness.
