Hand Mixer:
When using a hand mixer, stabilize your bowl on the counter with a rubber shelf liner.
Start on low speed when adding ingredients. Gradually increase the speed.
Always keep the mixer in constant motion.
User a rubber spatula to frequently scrape down bowl.
Turn on beater very slowly to shake excess back into bowl.
Stand Mixer:
When using a stand mixer, first, always ensure the bowl is locked into place.
Tilt the mixer's head up to remove and replace attachments for mixing.
To attach attachments, push up and twist into place.
Once attached, tilt head back down and lock head into place.
Add guard if your machine has one. Then, turn machine on and mix at desired speed (always starting on low first).
