Make sure meat is cooked properly by using a meat thermometer.
If using an Instant Read Thermometer, stick into thickest part of cooked meat. Allow 15 - 20 seconds to register reading.
When thermometer reaches 145-155 degrees your meat is ready to consume.
If using an Oven Safe Thermometer, place into the thickest part of meat before cooking. Make sure to avoid fat and bone. Put thermometer with meat into the oven to bake.
