Fun fact, I love any type of dip. Onion, spinach artichoke, cheese, crab, guacamole… my taste buds don’t judge. When I’m having friends over and I want to keep things simple, I always whip up a few dips. They’re easy to make and always popular.
“I started making this because my youngest son loves Feta cheese and it has morphed into something everyone requests,” shares Heather Trice (Indianapolis, IN) about her Feta Dip recipe. “I take it to a lot of holiday gatherings because the color scheme works to bring a festive moment and everyone loves it.”
This does have a festive feel, but it is too good not to enjoy year-round. Simple, fresh, and tasty, the combination of Feta, tomato, and green onions is perfect with olive oil. Greek seasoning just enhances the dip and adds a robust flavor. I loved to soak up the olive oil with the bread and top it with the tomato mixture.
Now, keep an open mind and try Diane Schmidt’s (Comstock Park, MI) Dill Pickle Dip. I know … dill pickles in a dip? Trust me, it’s so good. If you are a pickle fan you’ll love this.
“This dip is delicious and a hit at parties or potlucks,” reveals Diane. “I don’t even like pickles and I love the dip.”
Diane’s dip is creamy, tangy and I love the added crunch of the diced pickles. Spread on some crackers or try it on a burger as Diane suggests. So good!
Spinach Artichoke Dip is a classic and Bre Van Patten (Vale, OR) shared her recipe that everyone loves.
“I’ve always loved this dip, I just wanted to make my own version,” explains Bre. “Eat it cold or serve it hot and bubbly. Either way, it’s delicious!”
This creamy spinach artichoke dip is definitely not something you’d find in the frozen food aisle. It’s packed with artichokes. The addition of salad seasoning, lemon zest, and juice really elevates the flavors. Especially the lemon, that flavor really comes through. Grab pita or tortilla chips and dig in.
BLT’s are one of my favorite sandwiches. Brandy Male (Mustang, OK) turned the flavors from that sandwich into a dip.
“This is so easy yet gets rave reviews,” says Brandy. “I wanted to mock a club sandwich in a dip and think it was a success.”
Everyone is a winner when you serve this amazing Club BLT Dip at your next party. As your chip goes through each layer, you’ll get a bit of tomato, lettuce, smoked turkey, cheese, and bacon. Yum! Let’s be honest… sprinkling cheese and bacon on top of a dip is never a bad thing.
Want to amp up the flavor in your guacamole recipe? Try Natalie Loop’s (Hudson, MI) unique spin.
“I am a stay-at-home mom with a home-based business,” shares Natalie. “During the day I get so busy in my routine of doing that I forget to take time to eat. I like to have this on hand to snack with chips so I don’t have to stop and eat a meal.”
In the kitchen, we fell in love with this Giddyup Guacamole and think you will too. Pineapple adds a hint of sweetness while jalapenos give this guac a little kick. Traditional cilantro gives a fresh taste.
Try any of these dips if you’re looking for something easy to make for friends or want a simple snack. They’d be a great Memorial Day appetizer too. Happy Pinching!
