“Za’atar is a blend of dried herbs with kind of a woodsy earthy type flavor and it’s delicious on just about anything you put it on. I like to give asparagus a quick toss in a good olive oil and then sprinkle away before roasting it. When we’re done, a quick squeeze of a lemon brings the whole dish together and makes it sing! ” - Christy

“Roasting the asparagus really brings out its flavour and the roasted tomatoes that are slightly caramelized on the outside and yet still bursting with juiciness on the inside go amazingly well together! The sweet and tart balsamic reduction brings everything home and complements the parmesan cheese perfectly! “This is a seriously easy way to cook asparagus while outdoor grilling. No dishes, no fuss, and everything is in a simple disposable pouch. We loved the citrus tang the lemon gives the asparagus. We used lemon zest and a little juice - it gave such a fresh flavor. Parmesan cheese adds some saltiness (so you may not need extra salt). The pouch steamed the asparagus perfectly on the grill. If you follow Brad's cooking time, the asparagus will be cooked but have a slight crisp. If you like soft asparagus, we suggest adding a few minutes onto the cooking time.” - Kitchen Crew

“Made these yesterday for a get together and I have to say...they disappeared quickly...everyone on just loved them! No left overs that's for sure, so I can't comment on how they reheat. I will say this though I DID use the spray butter and had no issues whatsoever...2 thumbs up from me, will make another batch this weekend. I liked them and I am NOT a fan of asparagus.” - Diane
“Oh my, these are so yummy! The sesame ginger marinade really gave this chicken great flavor. We made sure to add it to the chicken while cooking like Paula suggested and basting it just added to the great flavor. The bacon had a nice smoked flavor and the asparagus is tender yet still had a nice crunch. Delish!” - Kitchen Crew

“I made this recipe and did exactly everything listed. I bought a bunch of asparagus thinking it was a lot and it would last a few days. When you cut the stems off, it shortens them to about 4 inches. I like the taste of the Italian spices, crunchiness, and cheeses on the asparagus. It makes about 2 to 3 healthy servings. I would recommend for a good veggie side dish!” – Diana
