spicy texas grill roasted corn

Oh so simple that it's almost not a recipe. I make the marinade with some veg oil and a homemade dry Texas bbq rub. You want it thin enough to to coat the corn well yet thick enough to stay on the cob. If you have a well spiced marinade that you purchase go ahead and use that. It hard to go wrong here.

Ingredients

  • 8 - fresh corn cobs
  • 1/2 cup any well seasoned southwest marinade you like, purchased or homemade
  • - foil for wrapping

How To Make spicy texas grill roasted corn

  • Step 1
    Clean husks and silk from the core ears.
  • Step 2
    generously brush ears of corn with marinade, place each on a sheet of foil, and wrap tightly. Keep refrigerated until ready to grill. The longer it stays in the marinade the better the taste.
  • Step 3
    Grill foil‑sealed corn, turning occasionally, for 15 to 20 minutes.
