Perfect for a cocktail party, brunch, luncheon or even alongside a steak at dinner. This is a very economical side dish. These mushrooms are juicy with a crunchy top. Garlic butter and bread crumbs add to the flavor. Definitely have a fork ready when you dig in!

Ingredients For roasted garlic mushrooms

16even-sized open cap mushrooms, stems cut level

3 Tbspvegetable oil or corn oil

1 1/2 stickunsalted butter, softened

3 clovegarlic, chopped very fine

2 Tbspfresh thyme, chopped
-
1 1/2 Tbsplemon juice
-
salt and pepper, to taste

1/2 cbread crumbs
How To Make roasted garlic mushrooms

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut stems level to the mushroom cap.

2Lightly fry the mushrooms, cap-side down, in hot oil for 20 seconds.

3Arrange the mushrooms in a shallow roasting pan with stems facing upwards.

4Mix together the butter, garlic, thyme, lemon juice, and seasoning.

5Spoon a little garlic butter on to each mushroom.

6Then lightly press the bread crumbs on top.

7Cook immediately in the oven for 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy.
