Excellent kugel which can be prepared ahead and reheated.
A change from plain rice.
My grandmother always made this dish on holidays.

Ingredients For rice kugel

2 ccooked rice (1 cup raw)

4eggs
-
3/4 csugar
-
1/2 cbutter
-
1 tspvanilla
-
4 cmilk
-
1/2 craisins
-
1apple (optional)
How To Make rice kugel

1Cook rice for 20 minutes. Strain.
Beat in eggs.
Add sugar, vanilla, milk and raisins. -
2Grease 9 X 13 inch baking dish with 4 tbsp. butter.
Pour mixture into baking dish.
Dot mixture with 4 tbsp. butter.
Slice apple thinly and place on top of mixture (optional) -
3Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
