Ingredients For long grain and wild rice

  • 1 c
    long grain and wild rice
  • 1/4 c
    finely chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp
    granulated garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped red onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    unsalted butter
  • 1/2 tsp
    cracked black pepper
  • water

How To Make long grain and wild rice

  • 1
    Place 2 Tbsp. of butter in med. saucepan. Once the butter is good and hot, add rice, onion and pepper. Fry for about 2 min. Add water according to package directions, add pecans and cook according to package directions. (I used 2 1/2 c. of water and cooked for 45 min.)
