1 stickunsalted butter, room temperature

1/2 Tbspfresh garlic, pressed or very finely minced

1/2 Tbspminced fresh chives

1/2 Tbspfinely minced shallot

1/2 Tbspminced fresh flat leaf parsley

1 tspminced fresh thyme

1/2 tspfresh ground black pepper
How To Make garlic herb steak butter

1In a small bowl, mash butter until fluffy.

2Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly.

3Shape into log or disk; wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

4To store longer than 1 week, divide into 1 tablespoon size pieces; wrap each piece in wax paper; place in small freezer bag or container; freeze for up to 1 year.
