This was given to me by a dear friends many moon ago.It is a little different but it make for a good salad. So I hope you like it. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ingredients For mississippi cornbread salad

1 boxjiffy cornbread, mix,bake,according to pkg.

1 pkgranch style dressing mix
-
8 ozsour cream
-
1 cmayonnaise
-
3 lgtomatoes,chopped or 1 can diced
-
1/2 cred bell pepper or green bell,chopped
-
1/2 cgreen bell pepper, chopped
-
1/2 cgreen onions,chopped
-
2-------16 ozpinto beans, drained
-
1 ccheddar cheese, shredded
-
10 slicebacon,cooked and crumbled
-
2 canwhole kernal corn, drained
How To Make mississippi cornbread salad

1Stir together salad dressing mix, sour cream, and mayonnaise until blended; set aside.

2Combine tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions, gently toss.

3Crumble half the cornbread into a 3 quart trifle bowl or a large salad bowl.

4Top with half each of beans, tomato mixture, cheese, bacon, corn, and dressing mixture. Repeat layers. Cover and chill 3 hours.
