Easy, delicious and very filling, I've eaten this for a complete lunch and supper many times. It's an easy clean-up and there's no standing over a hot stove. I love it. Hubby likes it without avocados. Ha! More for me!

Ingredients For ham & avocado chef salad

  • 4 to 5 md
    leaves romaine lettuce, torn bite size
  • 4 or 5
    cherry or grape tomatoes
  • 2 slice
    swiss cheese, diced (about 1/8 cup, heaping)
  • 2 slice
    smoked ham lunch slices, chopped
  • 1/2
    avocado, large dice
  • 1/4 c
    herb seasoned croutons
  • 1 Tbsp
    hickory smoked bacon crumbles
  • caesar dressing or dressing of your choice

How To Make ham & avocado chef salad

    In a large, individual salad bowl, add lettuce then cheese, ham and tomatoes.

    Next, add diced avocado and croutons.

    Pour desired amount of dressing over salad; sprinkle with crumbled bacon. Enjoy!
