I created this recipe for a tasty healthy moist turkey meatloaf. This recipe is made with salt free seasonings. There is so much flavor you do not even miss the salt. My husband loves this dish served with mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and turkey gravy. Hope you enjoy!

Ingredients For healthy turkey meatloaf

1 lborganic ground turkey breast

6 ozfresh baby spinach - chopped

8 ozmushrooms, chopped

2celery stalks - finely chopped
-
1-2shallots - finely chopped
-
3 clovegarlic - finely chopped
-
1egg
-
1/4 c1% milk
-
1 citalian cheese blend - shredded
-
3 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin
-
2 Tbspearth balance buttery spread
-
2 Tbspsalt free perfect pinch all purpose seasoning
-
2 Tbspsalt free perfect pinch garlic & pepper seasoning
-
1 tsppepper
-
1 tspgarlic powder
-
3slices whole grain/whole wheat bread - cubed small
How To Make healthy turkey meatloaf

1Heat extra virgin olive oil in a saute pan over medium heat, add mushrooms and celery, saute for 3 minutes, add shallots and saute for an additional 2 minutes. Add chopped garlic, saute for an additional 1 minute, add spinach, season with salt free seasonings (be generous), and pepper, saute until spinach is wilted. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

2Melt butter in a saute pan, add bread cubes and saute until toasted a little, season with salt free seasonings (be generous), garlic powder, and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

3Blend milk and egg together and set aside.

4In a mixing bowl add bread, milk and egg and mix well, add spinach mixture and stir,add turkey and mix thoroughly with hands, add cheese, mix and form into a loaf pan.

5Bake at 375 degrees for 1 hour.
