Ingredients For squirrel stew

1squirrel, cut up

all purpose flour
-
salt and pepper

2 1/2 Tbspbutter

7 cboiling water

1 tspthyme
-
1 ccorn
-
3potatoes, cubed

3 mdonions, sliced

2 ctomatoes, canned
-
1/4 tspcayenne pepper
How To Make squirrel stew

1Dredge squirrel pieces in flour, salt, and pepper.

2Brown in butter.

3Add squirrel and all ingredients except the tomatoes to the boiling water.

4Cover and simmer for 1 to 2 hours.

5Add the tomatoes and continue to simmer for another hour.
