I found this recipe wandering around on the internet (it's website doesn't allow pinching, so the original can be found at: sweetasacookie.com/sticky-chicken ). We tried it and it was a huge hit -- easy, fast, hit the spot perfectly. My husband declared it a keep -- I'd like to play around with the sauce ingredients, but the base recipe is wonderful!

Ingredients For sticky chicken

  • 1 pkg
    frozen chicken tenders or popcorn chicken
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 5 Tbsp
    hot sauce (like frank's)
  • 3 Tbsp
    barbecue sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
    water

How To Make sticky chicken

    Prepare chicken according to package directions.
  • 2
    For the sauce, combine the rest of the ingredients in a sauce pan. Bring to a boil on medium heat stirring continuously. Once the sugar has dissolved, add the chicken to the sauce and mix thoroughly, until chicken is completely coated.
