When I was younger, my grandpa used to make tuna patties and I always loved them. They were basically just tuna, eggs, and breadcrumbs. I took my cue from him but added a little more to the recipe and I really love them- as does my family.

Ingredients For tuna patties

3 canchunk light tuna, drained

1onion, diced
-
1celery stalk, diced
-
1/2red, yellow, or orange bell pepper, diced

3 Tbspcanola mayonnaise

1/3 cinstant potato flakes, dry

2large eggs
-
1/2 tspgarlic powder
-
salt and pepper
-
canola oil
How To Make tuna patties

1Mix together the first 7 ingredients. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder, stirring to combine.

2Form tuna mixture into patties.

3Drizzle canola oil in a large skillet. Add patties (in batches if necessary) and fry for about 4 minutes, or until browned, on each side. Serve.
