My first attempt at Salmon, the best of both worlds.

Ingredients For brown sugar and bacon salmon

2 lbsalmon, steaks

1 Tbspbutt rub, your favorite brand or blend

2-3 Tbspbrown sugar

4 slicebacon, (i used a maple smoked)
How To Make brown sugar and bacon salmon

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Line baking sheet with tin foil. Spray with Pam.

3Place the steaks on baking sheet evenly spaced. I used tails, they just looked tastier. But I'm new to salmon so you tell me!

4Mix the butt rub and brown sugar and rub onto salmon. Use as much or as little as you like. I used about a tbsp per steak, two large tail sections.

5Lay bacon over steaks, I used 2 per section but if you are using steaks 1 would probably work per steak.

6Let sit for about 20 minutes while you prep something else or oven finishes preheating.

7Bake for about 10 minutes and then check to see how bacon is coming along. I finished off under the broiler but not too close for a few minutes to brown the bacon. 10 -15 minutes total cook time depending on your oven and size of fillets.
