The next time you're craving take-out, make this slow cooker sesame chicken instead. It's as good as any restaurant and less expensive to make at home. The chicken breasts are extremely tender after slow cooking. The sauce is savory with a hint of sweetness. Sesame seeds sprinkled on top add a touch of nutty flavor. Serve over white rice for an Asian-inspired meal.

Slow Cooker Crock Pot
Ingredients For slow cooker sesame chicken

1 1/2 lbboneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 choney
-
1/4 csoy sauce
-
2 Tbspdried onion
-
2 Tbspketchup
-
1 Tbspoil
-
1/2 tspgarlic powder
-
2 tspcorn starch dissolved in 3 Tbsp water

sesame seeds
How To Make slow cooker sesame chicken

1Put the chicken into a Crock Pot.

2Combine honey, soy sauce, onion, ketchup, oil, and garlic.

3Pour over the chicken. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1 1/2 – 2 1/2 hours or just until chicken is cooked through.

4Remove the chicken from the Crock Pot and leave sauce.

5Dissolve 2 teaspoons of corn starch in 3 tablespoons of water.

6Pour into the Crock Pot. Stir to combine with sauce. Replace the lid and cook the sauce on high for ten more minutes or until slightly thickened.

7Cut chicken into bite-size pieces.

8Return the chicken to the Crock Pot and stir with the sauce. When serving, sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve over rice.
