This is a very good basic Macaroni casserole I recently found in a popular cooking magazine and made a couple of my own changes to. It's economical at just .92cents a serving. Serve with Salad and rolls

Ingredients For ground beef macaroni casserole

1 pkg(7oz) elbow macaroni

1 lbground beef
-
1medium onion, chopped
-
1 can(15oz) italian tomato sauce
-
1egg
-
1 can(10-3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted

1 1/4 c2% milk
-
1 1/2 Tbspminced parsley
-
1 c(4oz.) shredded cheddar cheese

1 Tbspbutter, melted
How To Make ground beef macaroni casserole

1Cook macaroni according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in tomato sauce; heat through.

2Drain macaroni; transfer to a greased 13-inx9-in. baking dish. In a small bowl, combine the egg, soup, milk, butter and parsley; pour over macaroni. Spoon beef mixture over top; sprinkle with cheese.

3Bake uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
