This was just way too easy to make, and it was so good. I cannot imagine anyone not enjoying this treat. It tastes like peanut butter ice cream. It is so amazing. Your whole family will love you. Great for a summer evening. If you do not want to go the peanut butter cup route, use chopped nuts or Reese's pieces; so many options. Next time, I will try chocolate chip cookie dough.

How To Make frozen peanut butter pie

  • Brownie mix, egg, and melted butter in a bowl.
    1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9" springform pan or a deep dish pie plate with butter. For the crust, melt butter. Mix with brownie mix and egg.
  • Make sure the ingredients are combined.
    2
Make sure all ingredients are incorporated.
  • Press brownie batter into a springform pan.
    3
    Pour into the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.
    4
Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes. It will be still wet.
  • Let brownie crust cool for 20 minutes.
    5
Let cool for about 20 minutes, until just cool enough to touch.
  • Form a rim around the crust.
    6
With buttered fingertips, press the brownie to make a rim in the pan. At this point, it should look like a pie crust, and let it cool completely.
  • Cream peanut butter, powdered sugar, and whipped topping.
    7
For the filling, cream together the powdered sugar, peanut butter, and whipped topping. The mixture will be very thick.
  • Spoon filling into the brownie crust.
    8
With a spatula, fill the crust with the peanut butter filling.
  • Chop the peanut butter cups.
    9
Take the peanut butter cups and chop them into little pieces. Freezing them first makes it much easier to chop.
  • Drizzle with hot fudge sauce.
    10
Sprinkle the chopped peanut butter cups on top of the filling. Heat hot fudge sundae topping in the microwave for about 30 seconds, then drizzle over the top of the peanut butter pieces. If using chocolate syrup, drizzle over the pie. Place a piece of plastic wrap over the pie and freeze for about 3 hours.
