Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 - eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups salted peanuts
How To Make salted peanut crisps

Step 1Heat oven to 375. Mix brown sugar, butter, shortening, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Flatten with greased bottom of glass dipped in sugar.

Step 2Bake until golden brown, 8-10 minutes. Immediately remove from cookie sheet. *If using self rising flour, omit salt and baking soda.
