3/4 cbutter

4squares (1 ounce each) unsweetened chocolate

2 csugar

4eggs

1 call purpose flour

1 pkg14 ounces caramels

1/4 cwhipping cream

2 cpecan halves or coarsely chopped pecans, divided

1 pkg12 ounces milk chocolate chunks or chips, divided
How To Make chunky caramel nut brownies

1Preheat oven to 350. Grease 13x9 inch baking pan. Place butter and chocolate in large microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 1 1/2-2 minutes or until melted and smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in flour.

2Spread half of batter in prepared pan. Bake 20 minutes. Meanwhile, combine caramels and cream in medium microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 1 1/2-2 minutes or until caramels begin to melt; stir until melted and smooth. Stir in 1 cup pecans.

3Spread caramel mixture over partially baked brownie layer. Sprinkle with half of chocolate chunks. Pour remaining batter over top; sprinkle with remaining 1 cup pecan halves and chocolate chunks. Bake 25 minutes or until set. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
