I love the texture of this cake which is light and tender. And the slightly crisp edges are so good. The frosting is also delicious and could be used on many other cakes. Another great aspect of this cake is everything is mixed in one bowl. What's not to like about that? Give it a try, you won't be disappointed! My photo's

Ingredients For ~ peanut butter chocolate chip cake ~

2 - 1/4 cflour

1 cbrown sugar

1 csugar

1 - 1 1/2 cpeanut butter

1/2 cbutter, softened

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspbaking soda

1 cmilk
-
1 - 1/2 tspvanilla

3eggs
-
2 csemisweet chocolate chips, divided

1/3 cpeanut butter
How To Make ~ peanut butter chocolate chip cake ~

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 12-inch Bundt pan with nonstick baking spray containing flour (even nonstick pans) and set aside.

2In large bowl combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and 1/3 cup peanut butter and beat on low speed until combined; then beat three minutes at medium speed.

3By hand, stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips. Spoon batter into prepared pan.

4Bake at 350 degrees for 55-65 minutes until set, brown, and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

5Cool in pan for 10 minutes, then loosen edges and turn pan onto serving plate. Cool completely, then frost.

6In small saucepan, melt 1-1/2 cups chocolate chips with 1/3 cup peanut butter. Spoon over cake.

7I crushed some salted peanuts and sprinkled them over the frosting. Enjoy!
