I just tried this recipe (I'm pretty sure it came from a Taste of Home magazine, but, if not, something by Reimann Publishing) and it was fabulous! What genius, mixing the herbs -- when mixed with the flour, it doesn't seem like the flavors consistently coat, but mixing with the butter definitely took care of that problem. . .

Ingredients For baked almond chicken

1/2 cflour

1/3 cplus 1 tbsp butter, melted, divided

1 tspcelery salt

1 tsppaprika

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tspcurry powder

1/2 tspdried oregano

1/4 tsppepper

6boneless skinless chicken breast halves
-
1 1/2 cwhipping cream
-
1/3 cdry bread crumbs
-
3/4 csliced almonds, toasted

hot cooked pasta
How To Make baked almond chicken

1Place flour in a shallow bowl. Combine 1/3 cup butter and seasonings in another bowl. Coat chicken with flour, then dip in butter mixture.

2Arrange in a greased shallow 3-qt. baking dish. Pour cream around chicken.

3Bake, uncovered, at 350*F for 45 minutes.

4Combine bread crumbs and remaining butter; sprinkle over chicken. Top with almonds. Bake, uncovered, for 5 - 8 minutes or until golden brown. Serve over pasta.
