Mom got this recipe at a church supper. It was quick, easy, and used some of the surplus cheese she used to get at REAL Services every month.

Ingredients For cheeseburger scalloped potatoes, mom's

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    milk (use soup can to measure)
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar or colby cheese
  • 2 lb
    cooked potatoes, sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make cheeseburger scalloped potatoes, mom's

    Brown beef and onions in skillet. Stir to separate meat. When meat is done pour off grease. Stir in soup and milk and mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add potatoes and heat thoroughly. Serve with a salad and bread.
