5chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless, cubed

2 Tbspbutter

2 cancondensed cream of chicken soup

1 cancream of celery soup

1yellow onion, finely chopped

2carrots, peeled and cut into chunks

1 dashfreshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 cchicken broth
-
1 cwater
-
1 cfrozen green peas
-
2 pkgrefrigerated flaky biscuit dough, cut in quarters

1In a 5-qt. crockpot, combine chicken, butter, soups, black pepper, onions, carrots and water, stirring until smooth.

2Cook on high about 5-6 hours. About 45 minutes before serving, add the peas and quartered biscuit pieces and stir well. Cook an additional 40-45 minutes or until dumpling pieces are done.
