Ingredients For chocolate cobbler

8 Tbspbutter

2 1/4 cgranulated sugar, divided

1 1/2 cself-rising flour

1 tspvanilla extract

3/4 cmilk
-
6 Tbspcocoa powder

2 cboiling water
How To Make chocolate cobbler

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a 9x13 glass baking dish, melt the 8 Tbsp of butter in the oven for 5 minutes.

2In a bowl, mix 1 1/4 c sugar, self-rising flour, vanilla extract, and milk.

3Once the butter is melted, pour the batter over the butter. Do not stir.

4In a separate bowl, mix the cocoa and the remaining granulated sugar.

5Sprinkle the cocoa/sugar mixture on top of the batter. Do not stir.

6Pour the 2 cups of boiling water on top of that. Do not stir.

7Bake for 40 - 45 minutes. I bake mine until it has a golden brown crust.

8Serve warm with ice cream.
