Ingredients For walnut balls

  • 2 stick
    butter, softened
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    walnuts, chopped fine
  • powdered sugar

How To Make walnut balls

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Spray Pam on cookie sheet. Cream butter and vanilla together in large bowl. In another bowl, mix flour, sugar and salt. Add to butter mixture. Mix well, add walnuts, mix again.

    Shape dough into balls and place on cookie sheet, an inch apart.

    Bake for 30 minutes, or until bottoms are lightly browned. Place on wire racks. While cookies are still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Return to racks to cool.

    When they are completely cool, roll in powdered sugar again, if desired.
